Owner Wendy Sano started Jillybeans Cookies in the summer of 2015 after leaving her corporate job of 18 years.  She initially starting baking when her youngest child was diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy (her oldest child also has severe food allergies). She wanted to ensure her children always had a safe treat at school, birthday parties, etc.  Wendy is a self taught cookie decorator and loves that her hobby has now become her fulltime job.  She loves the reaction from happy clients and also enjoys producing a safe, nut-free product.

Wendy graduated from Temple University in 1991 with a degree in Marketing.  She lives in Downingtown, PA with her husband and two children.  Jillybeans Cookies is a home-based bakery and the kitchen has been inspected and registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Food Safety.  Jillybeans Cookies is fully insured and maintains a healthy and safe environment for cookie baking.
